Hackney Council publishes its first local account of adult social care
Hackney Council has published its first ever local account of adult social care services and is inviting residents to comment on the type of information they would like to see in future accounts.
Local accounts have replaced the Care Quality Commission’s annual assessments of council social care services and are designed to tell people how well we have delivered services against our priorities.
You can find the local account here along with a short online survey that you can use to tell us what you think about the account’s content and look.
This local account covers our performance during April 2010-March 2011 andApril 2011-September 2011.

The online consultation closes on 13 March 2012 although we will also be conducting further targeted consultations with service users and carers in due course.
