There are various training and development options available to local providers.  

Getting ready for personalisation

A selection of courses to develop your business and management skills run in partnership with Hackney Council for Voluntary Service (HCVS). They will help you focus on the practicalities of the tender process, writing contracts, marketing your services, service analysis and effective partnership working.

Mind the Gap

An intense short programme run in partnership with the Really Useful Learning Ltd to develop sustainable business solutions for providing personalised services. (Space limited)
The programme is free of charge to voluntary sector organisations and community groups. A £350 contribution is required from private sector organisations.

Self Directed Support – making it a reality

A series of workshops run in partnership with Helen Sanderson Associates, for provider organisations that want to build their capacity and readiness to respond to personalisation. (Space limited)

Communications resources

There are various tools available to help you communicate the transformation of adult social care with your clients and the community groups you may work with. This includes the Your Care Your Way information booklet, translated into 11 community languages and as a DVD with BSL, audio and subtitles.
